We are delighted to invite you for “All – Night Gong Bath” on Saturday 22 December 2018 – a unique and magical sleepover gong experience at The Old Acton Library.
This is a special time of WINTER SOLSTICE, aligned with FULL MOON IN CANCER and Christmas Time when NEW LIGHT/LIVE will be born again.
This is a night to stay in a peaceful and deeply meditative space, and have a healing and transcendental sound journey till sunrise. We use various instruments throughout the night including 9 gongs, shanti chimes & conch, weaving a tapestry of sound to guide you on your journey within.
The Gong Bath can help you to remove emotional aspects out of the body, creating empty space to fill it with love and tranquility.

We will begin the evening with the Mantra to tune into our Souls and gentle stretches to allow our bodies to open up to the energy to flow smoothly and prepare for sound waves to heal.
It is a great opportunity to feel your body, surrender to your unique dance & express yourself through your physicality.
Then there will be a short break to set up your ‘sleeping nests’ for the night ceremony.
After a short introduction, you will be “bathed” in the sound waves of the gongs for hours continuously till the morning. As the powerful vibrations and harmonics wash over you, they will induce deep relaxation, altered states of consciousness and help to release tensions and blocks. Expect to emerge revitalised and rejuvenated in the morning.
Please be gentle with yourself for the remainder of the weekend to fully ‘digest’ the process, which can last for a few days after the experience.
At the beginning of the night the sound might feel quite intensive at moments. After a while we will keep it gentle and comforting till the early morning, when there will be another more intensive sound wave as you wake.
At around 5:30am the gongs will go silent for 30 minutes of stillness & reflection; during this time people tend to experience powerful insights and a profound feeling of inner peace and liberation.
Everyone will be invited to to share their night experiences with each other over a hot drink and shared snacks.
